HERE IS A REFUTE TO THOSE WHO SAY 1 TIMOTHY 6:13-16 ISN'T ABOUT
CHRIST

Here you are mistaken. I will provide the passage and comment
next to the verses. I will paraphrase this passage for
understanding and flow.
[1 Timothy 6:13 KJV] "I give thee charge in the sight of God,
who quickeneth all things, and [before] Christ Jesus, who before
Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession;"...............I
give thee charge in the sight of God our Father, who quickeneth
all things. I also give thee charge before our Lord Christ
Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession;
[1 Timothy 6:14 KJV] "That thou keep [this] commandment without
spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus
Christ:"
[1 Timothy 6:15 KJV] "Which in his times he shall shew, [who is]
the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of
lords;"..............The appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ will
be in his time. It is our Lord Jesus Christ who is the blessed
and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;
[1 Timothy 6:16 KJV] "Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the
light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor
can see: to whom [be] honour and power everlasting.
Amen."..............I charged you before in the sight of God our
Father and before our Lord Christ Jesus, who both only have
immortality and it is God our Father who dwells in the light
which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can
see: to God our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ be honour and
power everlasting. Amen
This is all one continuous passage. All these verses are not to
be isolated from each other but are integrated. I will now just
give my paraphrased passage:
I give thee charge in the sight of God our Father, who
quickeneth all things. I also give thee charge before our Lord
Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good
confession; That thou keep [this] commandment without spot,
unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ,
which will be in his time. It is our Lord Jesus Christ who is
the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of
lords; I charged you before, in the sight of God our Father, and
before our Lord Christ Jesus, who both only have immortality, It
is God our Father who dwells in the light which no man can
approach unto, whom no man hath seen, nor can see. To God our
Father and our Lord Jesus Christ be honour and power
everlasting. Amen

quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as
though they were."
v14............. [1 Timothy 6:14 KJV] "That thou keep [this]
commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of
our Lord Jesus Christ:"
This is Paul's commandment:
[1 Timothy 6:11 KJV] "But thou, O man of God, flee these things;
and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love,
patience, meekness."
[1 Timothy 6:12 KJV] "Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on
eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed
a good profession before many witnesses."
[1 Timothy 6:14 KJV] "That thou keep [this] commandment without

v15.............It is our Lord Jesus Christ who is the blessed
and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;
[Revelation 17:14 KJV] "These shall make war with the Lamb, and
the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King
of kings: and they that are with him [are] called, and chosen,
and faithful."
v15.............To God our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ be

The Father's honour
[Revelation 5:13 KJV] "And every creature which is in heaven,

sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and
honour, and glory, and power, [be] unto him that sitteth upon
the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever."
The Father's power
[1 Chronicles 29:11 KJV] "Thine, O LORD, [is] the greatness, and
the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for
all [that is] in the heaven and in the earth [is thine]; thine
[is] the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above
all."
Jesus's power
[Mark 13:26 KJV] "And then shall they see the Son of man coming
in the clouds with great power and glory."
