SOME QUESTIONS I HAD ABOUT PARADISE
By: doug Date: February 13, 2026, 12:03 pm
       ---------------------------------------------------------
Here are some interesting questions I was asked:
Where is paradise located? Paradise is in the heart of the
earth..............[Matthew 12:40 KJV] "For as Jonas was three
days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of
man be three days and three nights in the heart of the
earth.".........Strong defines the heart "as of the middle or
central or inmost part of anything, even though inanimate". The
heart would be the center of the earth.
Is the thief still there? I don't know for sure as there is no
scripture that says anything about that. I know that the body of
Christ church goes to heaven. The old testament saints and the
new testament saints that believed on Jesus during his earthly
ministry and Acts are never said to go to heaven when they die.
I can only assume the thief and those saints are in Abraham's
bosom, but my opinion means little...............[John 5:28 KJV]
"Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all
that are in the graves shall hear his voice,"
[John 5:29 KJV] "And shall come forth; they that have done good,
unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil,
       unto the resurrection of damnation."
[Daniel 12:2 KJV] "And many of them that sleep in the dust of
the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to
shame [and] everlasting contempt.".........These verses would
make one conclude that these saints would just be sleeping in
the grave until the resurrection awakes them. This verse offers
a difference from thinking the dead will just be in the
grave..............[Matthew 27:52 KJV] "And the graves were
opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept
arose,"..........this verse says only their bodies were in the
graves. The other thing is both the beggar (Luke 16:19-31) and
the malefactor on the cross (Luke 23:43) were not just in the
grave, but they were in Abraham's bosom.
Where is Christ now, is he still in Abraham's bosom? Christ is
now in heaven..........[Ephesians 1:20 KJV] "Which he wrought in
Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set [him] at his
own right hand in the heavenly [places],"
[Psalm 68:18 KJV] "Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led
captivity captive: thou hast received gifts for men; yea, [for]
the rebellious also, that the LORD God might dwell [among
       them]."
[Ephesians 4:8 KJV] "Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on
high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto
men."........It is said that this verse shows that those in
Abraham's bosom were taken to heaven. I think it is saying when
Jesus ascended he led the captivity of the devil captive. The
devil has taken us into captivity............[2 Timothy 2:26
KJV] "And [that] they may recover themselves out of the snare of
the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.".........I
don't see this as saying Christ emptied Abraham's bosom upon his
       ascension.
