DO WE HAVE TO CONFESS HIS NAME?

[Romans 10:9 KJV] "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the
Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath
raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."
[Romans 10:10 KJV] "For with the heart man believeth unto
righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto
salvation.".........This passage is used as a salvation verse.
Here in Romans Paul is talking about Israel's salvation. To
enter their promised millennial kingdom Israel had to confess
Jesus as Lord, the Son of God, and their Messiah.
Under their covenant relationship with the Lord Israel had to
confess the name of the Lord.........
[1 Kings 8:33 KJV] "When thy people Israel be smitten down
before the enemy, because they have sinned against thee, and
shall turn again to thee, and confess thy name, and pray, and
make supplication unto thee in this house:"
[2 Chronicles 6:24 KJV] "And if thy people Israel be put to the
worse before the enemy, because they have sinned against thee;
and shall return and confess thy name, and pray and make
supplication before thee in this house;"
Jesus upheld the law and the covenant command to confess him as
Lord......[Matthew 10:32 KJV] "Whosoever therefore shall confess
me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is
in heaven.".......Take note that Jesus didn't just say confess
with the spirit of your mouth somehow, but they had to open
their mouth and confess him before men in public.
[John 9:22 KJV] "These [words] spake his parents, because they
feared the Jews: for the Jews had agreed already, that if any
man did confess that he was Christ, he should be put out of the
synagogue."
[John 12:42 KJV] "Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many
believed on him; but because of the Pharisees they did not
confess [him], lest they should be put out of the
synagogue:".........If the Jews confessed Jesus openly to others
they could be put out of the synagogue.
Based on these passages confession pertained only to Israel.
