FAITH IS NOT A GIFT

[EPHESIANS 2:5-9 KJV] 5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath
quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) 6
And hath raised [us] up together, and made [us] sit together in
heavenly [places] in Christ Jesus: 7 That in the ages to come he
might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in [his] kindness
toward us through Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace are ye saved
through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of
God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Faith isn't the gift as I heard some say, grace is the gift of
God. Grace is not of ourselves.
The gift of God is his loving kindness to us in bestowing mercy
to us.
Salvation unto eternal life is solely by his grace as seen in
these scriptures:
[ROMANS 5:18 KJV] 18 Therefore as by the offence of one
[judgment came] upon all men to condemnation; even so by the
righteousness of one [the free gift came] upon all men unto
justification of life.
[ROMANS[Luk 1:47 KJV] 47 And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my
Saviour. 6:23 KJV] 23 For the wages of sin [is] death; but the
gift of God [is] eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
