The ONLY Way to Truly Understand The Bible // RIGHTLY DIVIDING
The only way to truly understand the Bible and the gospel of our
salvation is to rightly divide the Bible. Separating prophecy
from mystery; God's earthly plan for Israel and His heavenly
plan for the Body of Christ.
2 Timothy 2:15 "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a
workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the
word of truth."
Jesus' Ministry to Israel (prophecy):
Matthew 15:24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto
the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
Matthew 10:5-6 These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded
them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any
city of the Samaritans enter ye not: but go rather to the lost
sheep of the house of Israel.
Peter Ministry to Israel (prophecy):
Acts 3:17-21 And now, brethren, I wot that through ignorance ye
did it, as did also your rulers. But those things, which God
before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ
should suffer, he hath so fulfilled. Repent ye therefore, and be
converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of
refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; and he
shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:
whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of
all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy
prophets since the world began
Paul's Ministry to the Body of Christ (mystery):
Romans 15:16 that I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to
the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering
up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the
Holy Ghost.
Romans 16:25 Now to him that is of power to stablish you
according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ,
according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept
secret since the world began,

Brian used to talk a lot about teaching people to do exegesis he
still talks about it some, kind of like a pet peeve or passion
of his, to help people learn how to draw out from scripture what
God put there rather than what so many people do when they read
into scripture what is not there.

Lori, believe it or not I know quite a bit of your theological
view from reading many of your posts but we never really talk.
You are so engaged with people and so good at deifying and
uplifting people with scriptures and exegesis. You probably know
I'm Mid Acts Dispensation and I think our newest member
victoriaroseinchrist in these videos is also.
We met through Grace Ambassadors Bible Study and she lives in
Texas where I have lots of friends and relatives. Amazing that
we met and I got the idea of putting hers and Joe's videos on my
forum, genius. Anyway, I know you're not MAD Lori but you do
believe in the triune Godhead right?

Yes I do believe in the triune God...Father, Son, and Holy
Spirit make up ONE Godhead.
I have heard some explain it as the Father and Son are one and
the same which is not what I believe. My belief is more like I
am mother, daughter, wife but still only one person. I believe
that the Father, Son, and HS are God's way of explaining to man
what is impossible for man to fully understand. I also believe
that is the trinity is truth, that we should see scriptures that
testify to both the trinity and the none triune nature of God
which is what we see or at least what I see...;)

The video is completely wrong at 1:10, if not before. Christ
did say all those things early on; the accounts are the 'drama'
of whether and when the disciples would understand it. You
can't deny things that you have never heard of. To be in denial
is not to have never heard:
'He will be called Joshua because he will save his people from
their sins.'
'to give his people knowledge of salvation,
through the forgiveness of their sin.'
And most important:
'But the temple he had spoken of was his body. After he was
raised from the dead, his disciples recalled what he had said.
Then they believed the Scripture and the words that Jesus had
spoken.'
The question was whether Jesus said these things early on. The
answer from the above passage: very early on. But they were
not believed. That is a different question.
I have no idea who this sweetie is but she is simply restating
what has been the confusion of Dispensationalism for 200 years
when Darby and Scofield first decided the bible didn't make
sense without them. No one in the Reformation stream of
theology ever said that. She is giving us fake theology.

I don't know of any Jews in Judaism in the 1st century Judea who
thought they were supposed to 'start to obey the commands.' In
fact there were too many commands. What no one had until the
declaration of the 'year of God's favor' (also early in Christ's
work) was the force of grace to inspire a person. Judaism had
completely lost that.
I'm sorry but it is too painful to watch more than a minute of
this kind of thing spiral further and further from what is
actually going on in the NT.

[shadow=blue,left]I listened to all of this video and come to a
different conclusion to the speakers discussion. He left out
most all of Acts 2 except that which seemed to refer to the LAW
in verse 16--17-18... Yet he fails to speak of verse 21.."And it
shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the
Lord shall be saved."
Then from Acts 2:22 onward, the speaker still places this in the
dispensation of the LAW. Rem, John 16:16.."The law and the
prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is
preached, and every man presseth into it."
Afterwards, the speaker skips and ignores Peter in verse
2:38.."Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every
one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of
sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."
The apostles has received the Holy Spirit in the first part of
Acts 2 and the disciples (around 3,000) that were there for
witnesses heard what Peter had to say and were saved that day
and received the Holy Spirit.
As we see, the law was not present in Acts 2, but was in the
beginnings of a transition of the people and their
understandings of the Law toward the Grace of Jesus Christ.
While the speaker did have most of his dispensations right, he
left the Dispensation of Grace out. The Church began with the
conversion of 3,000 Jewish souls, who are our brothers and
sisters in Christ. Until Acts 10, no Gentiles were converted.
Cornelius was the first.
Yes, we are all the same in the Church (Body/Bride) of Christ,
yet our cultures can be completely different. Even today,
Messianic Jews ( those who are saved by the Grace of Jesus
Christ) stick to some of their cultural habits and there is no
problem in that. Because they do not eat certain meat or because
they observe the Sabbath (Saturday), does not make them outside
of the commandments of Jesus Christ as given by Paul and the
apostles in the New Testament.
Those Jews that do not follow Jesus Christ, will be condemned to
go through Daniel's 70th Week.

Thanks for that Blade, it's good to know if the man I listen to
is right or leaving things out etc. If you see this post let me
know which theologians you like or study.
