What if aliens were not from outer space-- out beyond the
firmament? What if, instead- they were aliens in the sense of
from a strange land out beyond the rim of our little tea cup?
Aliens from over land... If you can imagine (as Gleason posted
elsewhere) that our seven hills (continents) sticking out of the
water are surrounded and contained (as all water must be) by a
barrier/bank/lip/rim of our little depression (like a moon
crater) and then... many, many miles away- what? Another
crater. Another little depression (sheep pen) with it's own
fence around it to contain within all that that world consists
of.
Mind bending, no? He did say he has other sheep not of this
pen.
That revelation of Jesus Christ recorded by John describes just
this sort of thing. It paints a picture of merchant traders--
kings of the earth...
11 “And the merchants of the earth weep and mourn over her,
because no one buys their cargoes any more– 12 cargoes of gold
and silver and precious 13 stones and pearls and fine linen and
purple and silk and scarlet, and every kind of citron wood and
every article of ivory and every article made from very costly
wood and 14 bronze and iron and marble, 13 and cinnamon and 15
spice and incense and perfume and frankincense and wine and
olive oil and fine flour and wheat and cattle and sheep, and
cargoes of horses and chariots and 16 slaves and 17 human lives.

that were luxurious and splendid have passed away from you and
men will no longer find them. 15 “The merchants of these things,
who became rich from her, will stand at a distance because of
the fear of her torment, weeping and mourning, 16 saying, ‘Woe,
woe, the great city, she who was clothed in fine linen and
purple and scarlet, and 19 adorned with gold and precious 20
stones and pearls; 17 for in one hour such great wealth has been
laid waste!’ And every shipmaster and every 21 passenger and

pronounced judgment for you against her.”
We have come to think of the earth as -the whole earth- and not
as this earth we call home as but a little garden of God upon
the whole earth. What if 'the earth' is much, much bigger than
we imagine? Like the size of what we think of as the universe.
Let your mind wander and wonder.

I think I have thought of of most feasible possibilities. Where
does God say there are other sheep not of this pen? I'm aware of
the reference to "worlds" - plural in Hebrews but that can mean
realms and the underworld. Personally, I see no mention of other
intelligent beings save angels, demon and spirits etc.
I think man is God's finest creation and we are the center and
focus of all creation. I don't believe in aliens from space or
from a much bigger earth with many other "ponds" containing
advanced life forms or even other humans. We are it. These
things are not impossible for God by any means but I just don't
believe it.
The earth and cosmos are enclosed and there is no way in and no
way out.

It's something Jesus said, recorded in John 10... he talked
about sheep a lot. ;D
11 “I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd lays down His
life for the sheep. 12 “He who is a hired hand, and not a
shepherd, who is not the owner of the sheep, sees the wolf
coming, and leaves the sheep and flees, and the wolf snatches
them and scatters them. 13 “He flees because he is a hired hand
and is not concerned about the sheep. 14 “I am the good
shepherd, and I know My own and My own know Me, 15 even as the
Father knows Me and I know the Father; and I lay down My life
for the sheep. 16 “I have other sheep, which are not of this
fold; I must bring them also, and they will hear My voice; and
they will become one flock with one shepherd. 17 “For this
reason the Father loves Me, because I lay down My life so that I
may take it again. 18 “No one has taken it away from Me, but I
lay it down on My own initiative. I have authority to lay it
down, and I have authority to take it up again. This commandment
I received from My Father.”

[/quote]I realize I don't know much about this existence I
experience. Not many ever do. Most people spend their lives
trying to manage their own lives. I know we were once close to
God and I believe satan and evil have corrupted the earth since
the beginning. There is hidden knowledge and wisdom that very
few people know or have access to.
I must accept that there are countless things I will never know
and we only get about 80 or 90 years in the earth IF we are
blessed and fortunate. I find it difficult to not be deeply
depressed by the reality of this world. I yearn for Jesus to
return and to begin the final stages of destroying satan, evil,
death, sin, disease and sadness and on and on.
The satanic power structure that has always been established in
the earth has done a good job of hiding God and everything that
goes along with that deception. Mr E, I shouldn't dismiss what
you offer and I am fascinated with your views and thoughts.
