I wouldn't put much stock in that survey because it says, "The
findings are based on half-hour-long personal interviews with a
nationally representative sample of 2,000 adults." 2,000 adults
hardly represent the percentage of Americans who hold a biblical
       worldview or not.
However, there is a growing trend among Christians to compromise
their beliefs according to the way the wind blows with the
various increasingly acceptable behaviors, ideologies, political
beliefs i.e. Marxism, Communism etc, wokism,.. that are in
direct opposition to their bible based conscience, scriptural
       direction, and views about God.
I've been told that I'm on the wrong side of history and that I
don't practice the golden rule because I won't compromise my
deeply held Christian beliefs. I'm just not "woke" enough for
       some people I guess.

I remember what I think was the cause of churches splitting and
changing their doctrines and beliefs to accommodate what was
being pushed and that was when I really saw churches starting to
fall. Many Christians stopped going to church for that reason.
But I believe most of those Christians are still strong
Christians with deep faith and deeply held Christian values
       based on scripture.

I am one of them odd fellows that fro some reason feels that GOD
does not forget His ELECT... He tells us in Mt 24:22, that even
during the Great Tribulation (the last half of Daniel's 70th
week), "And except those days should be shortened, there should
no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be
       shortened."
For this reason, I believe all those Christians that have
strayed (as the 5 foolish virgins), will eventually become the
saints they were meant to be!.
I know this has a lot of implications but it also explains many
       questions and conundrums. Any takers?

       Thanks TruthJourney
Even if it is 20%, that is still a very low count that is going
       down every day.
Like you, I am not woke enough.

I heard today, that number was revised DOWN to 2-4 %

I think they want us to believe that Christianity is declining.

Well about nine out of every ten denominational churches in
America are already in apostasy in one way or the other.
       ecumenicalism is on the rise.

[/quote]Indeed, the elect are mentioned several times throughout
scripture, too many times to be ignored. I agree brother.
