destroy my faith and confidence that God valued and loved me. It
was too deeply ingrained in my heart.
We have value to God. All of God's creation has value. It
doesn't matter whether other people think we have value. They
can't take that away from us.
What really matters and will matter for eternity is that God
loves us and that we have value to Him.
Something else I've learned is that I need to stop being so hard
on myself and be my own best friend. To be good to myself.
Forgive myself for what I view as shortcomings. To not expect
too much from myself and to give myself some credit for the good
things about me. Especially that I have been such a strong
survivor against all odds and didn't give up.

Yes I understand which is why I said that all of God's creation
has value which includes others. I didn't mention the details
but one of the things that I have beaten myself up about so much
is that I couldn't help others who were being treated the same
way that I was and it was beyond my control to do anything about
it. But I wanted so much to help them.

My point was that we are all valuable to God but the world as it
is holds no value in human life. The monetary value of a human
life is foolishness to consider, therefore we consider the love,
the personalities, the good deeds, the caring and helping, the
fellowship and the spiritual value of us all. There is no price
to be set for these things.
