What is this?
Do you want to tell a story?

I think the old written as a play or as a series of emails or
letters are a niche needing explored. Maybe one of those would
work. I always wanted to do one as a series of reports being
sent in from a reporter in the field. You get to be narrative
but state it as a first hand observer.

I would like collaboration from the forum members on this site
including ideas, thoughts and lines in the book/script. I am
concerned about people stealing the story or the ideas but I
don't want to use Microsoft or Wordpress. I need a place to
"write" and edit as I go etc.
Anyone could read this thread and steal the story so I'm not
sure where to write it.

pj, how much writing have you done? Are you an architect or a
gardener when it comes to writing? How long do you want the
work?

Well I got an A in college in writing but I wasn't really trying
lol. I do the outline in my head and give a lot of thought to a
story before I even begin to type or write.
To tell you how long it's been I am used to writing in cursive
by hand. My mind flows better that way but it's been a long
time. There are so many places I could start the story or the
opening scene.

While I am different I like to do the character's backstories
This helps me keep the characters on point so the story line
stays focused. It also helps if there is a sequel I know
where I started and where they are at.

Chappy-- I do like that Orwell story too. I read it in high
school (as required reading at that time) in 1981 and was
astonished to learn it had been written in 1949. Even then I
knew this was no ordinary story, but a vision of things to come.
Blessings upon you from our Father on high.
