       I worked for the same company for 12 years from leaving school
       as a butcher working through the grades from junior to leading
       to skilled tradesman and training specialist to department
       manager. After leaving that job and getting saved I worked at
       scores and scores of jobs in between preaching ventures. Low
       grade jobs, hard jobs, anything to keep afloat.
       One such job was an operative at burger restaurant in London's
       Earl's Court Rd, London's Aussie quarter. I was the only white
       English person there, the folks came from every which country
       and clime you can think of. Those guys loved me like in no other
       job I have ever been at. I was only person who turned red when
       the Indonesian manager hollered and everybody laughed. The work
       was hard, the boss yelled but he was a good boss with his pretty
       Indonesian partner.
       Rose was a big West Indian girl, she was built and looked a
       little like Cassius Clay [Mohammad Ali] she was anything but a
       rose. The boys were all terrified of her. She would wrastle them
       to the ground and sit on them.
       Her worse trick was to come behind a guy on the till while he
       was serving a customer and pinch extremely very hard.
       One day I was on the till and I saw Rose heading toward me.
       Inwardly I screamed, "Lord help ... strike Lord"  :D
       [font=times new roman]But the Lord did not strike Rose[/font]
       [font=times new roman]
       As I turned to face her a remarkable thing happened, I felt the
       muscles of my face relax and then suddenly lift up as though by
       unseen fingers into what I knew was radiant smile, I had a most
       incredible sense that Jesus was looking at Rose through my eyes
       and pouring love upon her.[/font]
       [font=times new roman]I asked "how are you doing Rose?" but she
       heard me to say "you're full of the devil Rose" She stopped in
       her tracks as though hit with a cricket bat.[/font]
       [font=times new roman]Later she came and asked if I would have a
       chat with her on the back stairs. She opened her heart to me,
       she said how she really wanted to be loved by everyone, but she
       didn't know how, it seemed to her as though there was a chain
       around her heart that always prevented her from showing her real
       self, holding her back.[/font]
       [font=times new roman]Now it just so happened [because the Lord
       had done this thing] that I had a tract in my pocket which
       depicted a human heart with a chain and padlock around it "you
       mean like this? Rose was astonished and I took her through the
       message showing how that Jesus had died on the cross to set her
       FREE and how she could b born again in an instant if she would
       believe. She DID believe and together we prayed her into the
       kingdom and she became a faithful member of her local
       Pentecostal church[/font]
       [font=times new roman]The result of this was a mini revival took
       place in that burger joint, "what's happened to Rose? ... why is
       everybody talking about God?" other christians were emboldened
       share what they could about the Lord and one little Bretheren
       sister invited the whole staff to attend her baptism.[/font]
       [font=times new roman]I am so looking forward to meeting Rose in
       heaven. Never since have I quite had that sense of Jesus
       actually looking out of my eyes and loving somebody like He did
       with Rose.[/font]
