       Budget problems

       Hi all, I just had a meeting yesterday with my PI to try and
       squeeze in the 2bRAD aspect in my PD project. Since everything
       here in Brazil costs so much higher than in the States (and
       probably elsewhere too), I found out that I can actually only
       achieve two-thirds of my original proposed project. So adding
       another aspect like 2bRAD won't be possible afterall. I even
       need to cut back on some of the projects I originally intended
       to do.
       However, I'm really grateful that I'll be able to play with the
       dataset we were given and with our pilot data to practice a bit.
       In my next project proposal, I'll definitely steer away from
       microsatellites and focus on building a project around 2bRAD.
       So that's it. Feel free to share things about your own projects
       in another topic from this message board. Hope all is well with
       all of you.
