I wanted to get this out so that managers can read it. The
Rookie draft starts Sunday August 10 at 8AM CST and the Auction
draft starts at August 17 at 8AM CST. I will post when the
rookie draft officially starts on Sunday, August 10 so look
forward for that.

Please post your rookie picks on this message board in the order
listed (please post the Salary CAP amount as well with your
rookies). You have 12 hours max to post your pick, but please
don't take that long. Let's all do our part and keep this thing
moving along at a good pace. Remember you need to arrange trades
BEFORE the pick is on the clock. Once you are on the clock you
will need to make the pick. Don't wait until you are on the
clock to start looking for a trade partner. If you have
something worked out with another manager where you are waiting
to see if someone is available at your next pick and if not then
you'll do a trade then that is fine...just have it worked out
beforehand so we aren't all waiting around all day for you. All
trades need to be posted on the 2025 Auction League Trade Room
forum message board for the Commissioner to view and approve. If
you take over 12 hours (which almost never happens), you will be
skipped. If you are skipped, the draft will continue without you
but you will be allowed to make your pick whenever you can.
Being skipped does not effect the price of your selected
player’s contract. You can communicate your picks to the
Commissioner or Co-Commishes if you are unable to post them on
this board, and I/they will post them for you. My email is

When you draft a rookie and win an auction bid in the auction
league please claim that player on our Yahoo! website for the
amount the rookie is designated for and in the auction, for the
amount you won the bid. Go to the Players tab on Yahoo, search
and find your player you just picked/won and click the green +,
enter the price of the player in the box provided, confirm you
want that player, and the addition of your player will be
processed. The player will go through waivers and will be on
your roster in one day. The Google Spreadsheet will be updated
as we go. If at any point in the rookie draft it is your turn in
the draft or at any point in the rookie draft you do not wish to
make a pick or you get to 20 players, post on the rookie draft
message board that you are skipping your pick and email the
commish of the same. If you get to 20 players or do not wish to
bid on any more players in the auction, email the commish you
are done with the auction draft.
Roster size is 20 and that is the MAXIMUM amount of players you
can have on your team. After the Rookie and Auction draft,
there will be 3 or 4 days of inactivity to get rosters updated,
after that inactivity, you may place players on IR in your IR
spots and then pick up the players on the waiver wire as you
wish. You can only draft up to 20 players. Once you reach 20
players you are done drafting, so please post you are done
drafting so the drafts are not held up.
The Auction Draft will be completed in the Forum message boards
that are set up.
There are directions in the forum on how to nominate and bid on
players under Auction Draft Information. Please read that
information before the auction draft starts. Once you nominate a
player and the auction actually opens, you can then bid on other
players, that acts and an incentive to nominate a player right
away. There will be 12 players up for auction simultaneously so
pay attention to all the bids. Once there are no bids for 12
hours, the manager with the highest bid bought that player. Go
to Yahoo and claim that player for the amount you won him for
and the pick will be processed the following day. The manager
that originally nominated the player that was just bought has to
nominate another available player immediately. More on that in
Auction Draft Information so be sure to read it.
Also, we have a $300 CAP for this league the entire season. That
means after the rookie draft and auction draft, any CAP you have
left over converts to FAAB for picking up players off the waiver
wire. Minimum bid for the waiver wire is $1. You must decide how
much FAAB you will need to get through the entire 17 week
season.
If at any point there is an issue with the draft I and/or a co
commish will post ALL STOP in the message board and the draft
will be stopped until the issues are fixed.
The rookie draft starts August 10 at 8 AM CST. Once the first
rookie pick is posted, you can post your first nomination on the
auction forum. The order to make your first nomination is the
Rookie draft order prior to trades. You do not have to draft a
player in the rookie draft prior to posting your nomination in
the auction, just follow the order as best you can. Remember we
do not start the actual auction and start bidding on players
until August 17 at 8 AM CST. So yes, your nomination will be
sitting there with no activity for a week and that is fine.
Doing it this way quickens the auction because we do not have to
wait on August 17 for everyone to nominate a player. I will
post when the auction opens. Any questions, ask.

Today is Draft Day!!! A few short rules to follow during the
draft. Follow the draft order and don't take the whole 12 hour
time limit. We should be able to get at least one round done in
24 hours. After you make your pick, go to the players tab, find
your player you picked and click on the green +, and then there
should be a blue button to click to get the player. Yahoo will
then add the player to your team.
All you have to do is click Reply at the bottom and post the
player you want drafted in the text provided and then hit Post.
Please post your player you drafted like this so it is clean and
simple:
With the 1.1 Rookie, Battle Creek Bandidos select Shedeur
Sanders, QB, CLE, $12 (be sure to put the designated amount so
we all know the players salary cap)

Remember, if you take over 12 hours to make your pick you can be
skipped, but can make your pick at any point after that.
After you complete your pick, if able, please communicate with
the manager who has the pick after you that they are up to draft
via email or other means.
Also, please post your nomination for the Auction Draft today in
the 2025 Auction League Auction Draft thread in the order below.
The Auction does not actually start until August 17, but I want
the nomination done prior to that so we can start a full day of
bidding on August 17 and not be waiting around for people to
nominate a player all day when we can be bidding on 12 players.
