All,
We have a full League with 12 managers. Please welcome Joe to
the league!!!. Also, please welcome Eric (Springfield Chiefs) as
he will be assisting as a Assisting Commish. Welcome all to the
2024 FSCEN NFL Auction League!!!
Below is the team spreadsheet in google if you need to look at
your rosters. You should still be able to view it, if not let me
know and I can invite you again.

Below is the schedule for the league written in pencil. If there
needs to be a change down the road, I will let you know. We
start things rolling on Sundays at 8AM CST.
Step 1 July 14 Entry Fee due
Step 2 July 28 Cuts and 7 Extensions due
Step 3 August 4 Trading opens
Step 4 August 11 Rookie draft
Step 5 August 18 Auction draft
Step 6 Dead period after drafts for a few days to get rosters
set, TBD
Step 7 September 1 WW opens (projected)
Step 8 September 5 first game of the NFL on TNF
I will post when a "step" begins and ends on the "Commish
Notess" on Yahoo and email you as well. Be sure to check your
junk mail folder for emails from Yahoo and if you get Yahoo
emails in your junk email, you will have to select those emails
as NOT JUNK so you can get future emails. Make sure you have
your best email address entered on your team settings and select
Yes to all options Yahoo allows. I am going to update the Yahoo
schedule as well.
Also, be sure to go to the below website and post any cuts, your
7 extensions, and your one amnesty in your war room on the
forum. The amnesty and up to 7 extensions are options you can
use for your team and you are not required to use all 7
extensions and your amnesty. I will work on getting the Google
Sheets updated. Updating the google sheets and the yahoo team
pages is extremely time consuming so I would like to work on it
a little at a time, instead of getting everything in the same
week. My team is basically finalized now so it can be done
early. If a player retires or gets hurt after you post cuts and
your extensions, I will allow you to make changes up to the
extension due date of July 28.

Below is the Constitution I am always updating for you to look
at and read. We only have 4 IR spots and they can be used on
players on IR and designated as OUT (if yahoo allows you to put
a player on IR, it's a legal use of IR).

I will get Leaguesafe up and running and you should be getting
an email from League safe about paying for our league fee. After
looking into it, Leaguesafe should be charging you $200 and it
should NOT have a processing fee tacked on. If it does and you
have an issue with that let me know and I can look into it. This
years pot will be $2400.

The Rookie Draft is complete.
Just a quick reminder, the Auction Draft starts August 18 at 8AM
CST. Please read the FSCEN Auction Draft Information before that
and claim your players off of Yahoo that you already drafted in
the Rookie Draft.

The 2024 Auction Draft is now open!!! Be sure to read "FSCEN
Auction Draft Information" post prior to bidding. If you do not
have a player nominated after 12 hours from your prior
nomination selling and you are not winning a bid to get you to
20 players, you will not be allowed to participate in the
auction. Maximum amount of players you can have is 20. After
you reach 20, you are done drafting. Players can be picked up
and dropped after the auction and rosters are set on Yahoo! and
the Google sheets. IR players can be placed on IR after the
draft and FA opens, not before. After 12 hours have gone by
without any bids, that player is sold. The manager that won
that player can claim them on Yahoo! for the amount they won the
bid for and it will process on Yahoo the following day. Good

All,
We all make mistakes, I get it, but we can double check things
too and fix things. Just so you are all aware, there was another
typo mistake made in the league when placing a WW claim. This
time it involved a manager claiming a player on the WW for $10.
He meant to bid $1 for the WW claim, typed 1 and failed to
delete the 0 in the amount box. This made the claim $10 instead
of $1. The WW was processed and he got the player for $10 when
he meant to bid $1. He immediately emailed me about the mistake
and explained it to me. The Co-Commissioners and I consulted
about this and decided it was a mistake and the player will be
added for $1 and everything will be updated to reflect that. It
was a simple mistake, but could have been easily avoided.
Also, there was an issue during the Auction draft when a manager
bid on Dowdle. That mistake could have been fixed before Dowdle
was sold if the manager refreshed the page and made his bid and
then double checked that the bid went through.
Now, when placing bids, please enter the number you wish to bid
in the "Your Bid" box correctly to begin with. After this is
done, take another few seconds to double check your bid by going
to your team page. Your player and amount you bid on will be
toward the top of the page. If you see a mistake, you can simply
correct it. If you want to make changes later, you can go back
and make the changes, just double check it after you post the
bid amount in the "Your Bid" box.
It's your responsibility to make the bid and part of that
process it to make sure the correct bid was made. From this
point forward, there will be no mistaken bids, your bid is your
bid, so double check it.
