The Rookie draft starts Sunday August 13 at 8AM CST and the
Regular draft starts at August 20 at 8AM CST. Posting this now
should give managers plenty of time to read it and ask questions
if needed. I will post when the rookie draft officially starts
on Sunday

Go to the link above and click on the 2023 Draft tab to see the
draft order. Please post your picks on this message board in
order. You have 12 hours max to post your pick, but please don't
take that long. Let's all do our part and keep this thing moving
along at a good pace. Remember you need to arrange trades BEFORE
the pick is on the clock. Once you are on the clock you will
need to make the pick. Don't wait until you are on the clock to
start looking for a trade partner. If you have something worked
out with another manager where you are waiting to see if someone
is available at your next pick and if not then you'll do a trade
then that is fine...just have it worked out beforehand so we
aren't all waiting around all day for you. All trades need to be
posted on the trade war room message board and agreed upon by
the other owner and the Commissioner will view, approve, and
make the changes. If you take over 12 hours to make your pick,
you will be skipped. If you are skipped, the draft will continue
without you but you will be allowed to make your pick whenever
you can. You can communicate your picks to the Commissioner or
one of the Co-Commish if you are unable to post them on this
board, and I/he will post them for you. Email me at
schmitmatt@hotmail.com Once you make a pick, immediately, claim
your player on the Yahoo Fantasy football website, go to the
Players tab, search and find your player you just picked and
click the green +, confirm the player you want to add, and the
addition of your player will be processed. I will update the
Google spreadsheet as we go along after every round or so.
Roster size is 20 and that is the MAXIMUM amount of players you
can pick in the draft. After the Rookie and Regular draft are
completed, there will be 3 or 4 days of inactivity, after that
inactivity, you may place players on IR in your IR spots and
then pick up the players on the waiver wire as you wish. You can
search players who are IR eligible. Go to the players tab, under
the STATUS drop down menu, click on Available, IR Eligible and
that will show all available players that can be put in one of
our 4 IR spots. You can only draft 20 players. Once you reach
your 20 you are done drafting, so please post you are done
drafting with your last draft pick and I will post FULL ROSTER
in your remaining draft spots on the google sheets. If you do
not wish to make a rookie pick, post that you PASS on your pick
and I will update that pick has been skipped.
We do not need to shut down league activity for religious
purposes this year so we can draft 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
When making a pick, please click on Reply toward the bottom of
this page, in the text box provided, please post pick number,
who is making the pick, player, position, and team he plays for
on the first line, skip a line and then post additional
information if you wish:
Example: Pick 1.1, Battle Creek Bandidos select Tom Brady, QB,
TB
Additional comments here, Example: Mayfield is not the answer,
Tom coming out of retirement is
Again, the Rookie Draft will start August 13 at 8 am CST and I
will post when it opens. The Regular Draft starts August 20 at
8AM CST. I will let everyone know if something changes and we
need to change the start time or if something happens during the
draft and we need to pause the draft I will post ALL STOP. If

This is Draft Day!!! A few short rules to follow during the
draft. Follow the draft order and don't take the whole 12 hour
time limit. After you make your pick, go to the players tab,
find your player you picked and click on the green +, and then
there should be a blue button to click to get the player. Yahoo
will then add the player to your team. If there is an issue with
the draft, I will post ALL STOP and email you all the draft has
been stopped and I will fix whatever needs fixing. Please read
the section on drafting in the Constitution.
All you have to do is click Reply at the bottom and post the
player you want drafted in the text provided and then hit Post.
Please post your player you drafted like this so it is clean and
simple:
