I got a lot of questions today about why we're moving to another
host. I'll try to explain this based on some facts.
1: The board is ad-free.
Finally no more Viagra annoying ads. Fuck these. We're finally
ad free.
2: We host our own data.
Meaning we can back it up. Even if it goes offline for a few
days after a server crash.. Care? A simple drag-drop restore
could do the trick. No more IPBFree Limitations.
3: A new, shorter URL.
Finally an URL which is easy to recognize and memorize.
4: Paid Software.
The software we use on our board is paid for. Meaning we're in
total control.
5: An easy to recognize and more enjoyable forum.
Lots of additions are made. Meaning we can finally enjoy a forum
what it was intended to be. Additions like our Gallery,
Downloads and Bug Tracker, help not only a more organized
structure, but easier access by members and developers alike.
I'm looking forward to the release in 12 hours!
