Snow, Ice and Reloading Time

Snow and ice everywhere with 32 degrees for a high and 19
tonight. Who ordered this?
Good time to get in the reloading room. I loaded 50 rds this
morning. 45acp, 230gr Gold Dots over 6.8gr of Win572 powder.
Should give me about 900fps velocity. Good SD rounds. Now for
some 9mm.

Sounds like a good day for it.
I've not used that powder. Does it burn clean?

It's fairly new. It's intended for shotgun reloading, but says
on the bottle that it's good for handgun reloading too. It's a
bit slower burning than HP-38. In the ammo I've loaded with it
so far, it's been very clean and snappy. I like it. It produces
higher velocity than HP-38...great for SD loads.

So many powders today tell you what they are for in the
name.
Other than trail boss I will never need any more powder or
primers.

This reloading is addictive. I need to shoot more now. 100 45s,
100 9mm and 100 5.56 back on Saturday. A snow and ice mess made
for an opportunity to be productive. I'm running out of storage
space.

Nice! Well, the reloading part, not the temp... In a couple
of weeks I plan on going south, where my friend's reloading room
is. I go reload, GF goes to Sams with my friend's wife, it is
all good. Plus we have TP, PT, and snacks for weeks. ;D
