Wedding Ring, Where To Buy?

This is probably the smallest forum I post in, but that is good
at times. I really don't like throwing a lot of personal info
out, even though, even here, once out, it is out there...
Anyway, it is time for the future Mrs. G to become Mrs. G. So,
any ideas? I know furniture and jewelry are some of the most
marked up items sold in retail. I started my custom build with
Mr. Owens before we got together, but that and some car repairs
to her car have left me a bit low in the cash department. I am
considering selling my Dan Wesson to help out in the $
department.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Buy online, locally...
Know anyone with a wedding ring laying around that might want
to trade for a Dan Wesson plus some cash? ;D

First, congratulations. I wish you well. As for being able to
help you, I'm not much help. But I can offer some advice....make
that ring a good one!

My wife and I have our rings custom made these days (pic of mine
that I just ordered Monday, wife’s is similar but with a black
diamond) but we’ve been married over 33 years and we both like
jewelry!
Our first wedding set we put on layaway, and the set only cost
$400 for all the rings. My dad surprised us and paid them off
as our gift, he didn’t even tell mom he was doing it!
My only advice is if it’s true, price doesn’t matter! Don’t over
extend yourself for a ring! Nicer items will come in the future
and they can be great anniversary gifts to upgrade her wedding
set!
Also local pawn shops are a great place to look. Can purchase
sometime at not much over melt but remember gold is over
$1800/oz right now!

After 50 years of Merry Christmas, I gave my Wife 2 Cast iron
bread pans among other things like 2 Boxes of Federal 357 magnum
125gr hollow points 50 rds ea. ;)
Bayles Irish cream for he Coffee you know.
She got me a trigger tech trigger for my Interarms MK-X 30-06

All I can add is If you love her, just think about what
would give her a smile she could remember.

Thanks for the kind words. After thinking, I will most likely
keep the DW, I have some leads on some extra jobs I can pick up.
I really like the idea of upgrading the set, that makes a lot of
sense.
