[Application] Why I should be vouched for Ideas Member.
   DIR By: Raul Menendez

       ---------------------------------------------------------
Hello everyone. I'm Raulmenendez and I'll be discussing one
       factor of each:
       (i) One advantage of Sploder
       (ii) One disadvantage of Sploder
       ___________________________________________________
We all know Sploder is a free game making site. It's been around
since 2007 and it's members grew significantly since then. Every
year, Sploder is improving. We can see this because of the
updates from time to time. However, as well as Advantages, there
       are disadvantages.
       (i) One Advantage of Sploder
Sploder has a soft spot for socializing. Members are given the
opportunity to chat, make friends and choose your best out of
them. On the Forums, you are given the opportunity to add
Buddies or ignore them. PMs are also available on the Forums
which allows you to chat to one or two members only other than
the whole community involved. Members can put up their profiles
and notice what they have in common. It gives them a good
       opportunity to make friends.
       One Disadvantage of Sploder
Like I said earlier, Sploder also has disadvantages.
There are many members on the MS and the Forums who still spam
and swear to this day even with the excessive amount of
Moderators around. I can really see how hard Geoff is trying to
put an end to this although there's nothing much you can do
       about it.
Although there's a lot of Mods, some of them barely focus on
their job. Because of this, children are seeing a lot of
inappropriate spam and swearing which puts risk to the youth.
This really shows Sploder ain't perfect. I'm not saying it's
bad. The disadvantages should be more focused on for some
improvement, in my honest opinion. Even a slight increase of
spam would put some risk but hey, nobody's perfect.
       Why I should be vouched:
I'm active and I also show responsibility and some maturity in
my posts, as you might've seen. I also feel like I want to do
something about it, give some ideas on how to improvise this
forum. I want to see what others think and decide if it really
       is worth it or not.
I've been writing essays since 6th grade which was back in 2000.
I have been chosen to write debates and I've been really good
       ever since haha.
Overall, I'm mature, active and ambitious. I want to do
something fulfilling and I hope I can manage this job and look
ahead. Ask myself. Am I good at my job? How will this improve?
       What to do to change?
All these questions should come in mind when you're doing your
       job.
Overall, I hope you had a good time reading my application.
Thank you all for your time and appreciation and I hope you
understand what I'm on about here.
       Thank you.
       Raul

Denied. It is not creative enough. In 'One Advantage of
Sploder', every (forum)site has a soft spot for socializing,
otherwise how would the site expand? Most of the Forums I've
seen can add buddies or ignore them, give me some reasons how
this is any different. PM's again are a natural base between the
Mods of a site and his staff, it is completely natural. If you
wish to use these reasons, give me details, yes it may be the
same but there are some cracks in the armour. As your last two
sentences people may not want to put up real information, but
you are close, again details is the key.
Your disadvantage is good. Rock hard information, with details.
It's true about the Mod problem, but what can you do, LOL. And
yes because of this children are exposed to bad language and is
a bad influence on how young they are. It moulds them, they
think it's okay to use this bad behaviour. My brother is an
example although on a different site.
Yes you should be vouched because you are mature, I see that.
This is only denied because you have not shown much reason to
your advantage. But since you have given great reasons for the
others and even an intro that wasn't required you may apply
immediately. You also gave much more than required for reason. I
said one lol. SO all you need to do is repost here under my
comment and just redo the advantage part.

Aiight, I'll redo the advantage part. Thanks Becky.
Wish me luck, I don't think I'll be too good.
       One Advantage Of Sploder
Kids can learn how to build shooting, maze, and other games
using online tools. The Physics Puzzle Maker is the best
educational option; it doesn't directly address math problems,
but physics principles are illustrated in the effect movement,
material, and other factors have on objects. Users are given the
opportunity to post questions and game comments like other sites
to leave it up to Geoff to fix it.
Using several online tools, users can create and share a variety
of games on SPLODER. The functionality is fairly easy to figure
out; users can pick from prefab images or create their own
graphics and drag and drop items into place. However, only two
of the tools feature demos, so some kids may still find the game
building process a little confusing, and instead opt to play,
rate, and comment on dozens of user-submitted games; friend
other users; add to their online profile; or post questions on
       the site's forums.
SPLODER lets kids design different types of games using four
tools. Some feature demos with usage tips; but younger kids may
still find the game building process a bit confusing without
help from an adult. You can also play user-submitted games --
the quality can vary, but there are dozens to choose from. The
site has a few iffy aspects: Games and comments, for example,
appear almost instantly once you create them, which could allow
questionable language to be posted. However, the overall content
is pretty tame, and Sploder gives kids a chance to be creative,
then test and share the results. Just to be safe, though,
parents may want to change their child's profile settings to
block comments and the ability to friend other users, since it's
easy to connect with strangers who have also registered.
You can drag and drop many of the game elements right onto the
game you made, but if you look closely, you're working off a
grid, just like you would when creating a graph in math class.
Why did you choose to place the objects and other game elements
where you did? If you were to draw your game on graph paper, how
       would it look?
Sploder helps kids create games using four online tools -- most
of which are intuitive or walk users through the steps. However,
two offer very little instruction, which can be confusing; users
also don't receive direct feedback on how to improve their
games. In theory, Sploder could reinforce learning by pointing
out how grids work and what math and science principles are
being displayed. However, the site activities are really more
for fun, and aren't likely to give kids much experience building
       a game without using a drag-and-drop too.
Overall, Sploder is quite unique in a way. It allows you to
learn, play and experiment. It shows how fun it can be and shows
how suitable it is for everyone.

Accepted. You gave more than one reason. And most of it was
unique. You did real well Raul. Good job. I will give you the
badge and the role after Cian009 comes on. You certainly are
good at it. You may post on th Ideas Members site now.

Just keep thinking, but you must give good reasons, unique etc.
BTW how old do I seem to you without you check my profile.
