PARKBENCH ORGANIZATION

Involvement in the PARKBENCH project is open without charge to all members of the high performance computing community with an interest in benchmarking, and operates similarly to the High Performance Fortran Forum. The committee usually meets a couple of times each year in Knoxville, and also at the Supercomputing conference.

The PARKBENCH committee divides its work between five subcommittees. These are listed below, together with the chair of each:

Methodology, David H. Bailey.
Low-level benchmarks, Roger Hockney.
Kernel benchmarks, Tony Hey.
Compact application benchmarks, David W. Walker.
HPF compiler benchmarks, Tom Haupt.

To facilitate discussion and exchange of information the following email ites have been setup:

parkbench-method@cs.utk.edu for the methodology subcommittee;
parkbench-lowlevel@cs.utk.edu for the low-level subcommittee;
parkbench-kernel@cs.utk.edu for the kernel subcommittee;
parkbench-compactapp@cs.utk.edu for the compact application subcommittee.
