1) Last minute tip:
If your colours flash when using UC, that means that your colour
map is full. Simply do Ctrl-F2 Global Options in UC, switch off
the startup message, save the database (!) and restart. UC will
then use fewer colours.


2) Unix Cockpit unzipping instructions:
After transmitting uc, do

./gunzip uc-*.gz

on the gzipped version. Also do a 

chmod +x uc-*

after successful transmission to make the file executable. Voila!
