This software works with MRT and requires a kernel support for QOS routing
developed in RIC. However, without the kernel support, it is possible to
see how the protocol works.

Platforms: 

o FreeBSD 2.8.8 with kernel support (IPV6)
o FreeBSD and NetBSD without kernel support (IPV4/V6)
o Solaris without kernel support and pthreads (IPV4/V6) (*)
  (*) need to run "configure --disable-thread")
