NAME
     cat, ls - print files; list a directory

SYNOPSIS
     cat file ...
     ls [-l] [path...]

DESCRIPTION
     Cat prints each file in turn.  There is no option to stop at a screenful;
     pipe it through p(1) when the file is longer than the window.

     Ls lists a directory, or the current one if given no path. With -l it
     prints permissions, size and name. Names are printed one per line.

     Both read through the namespace, so they work on anything mounted there
     and not only on local storage. Listing /net or /proc shows the network
     and the running threads as directories of files, because on this machine
     that is what they are.

EXAMPLES
     cat /n/local/rc/lib/profile
     ls -l /n/local
     ls /net
     cat /n/bbs/etc/motd | p
