12:12:32 <crc> Traditional Forth is something I like, from a simplicity perspective, but it always seems to be stuck in the past. ANS hasn't helped, in that there's a lot of waste in arguing over its merits and not so much in terms of trying to make the language more useful on modern systems.
12:13:18 <crc> I'd like to have a traditional forth that does have new functionality and doesn't assume a tie to a traditional TTY style environment.

12:34:18 <crc> Http accesses are a bit problematic due to ATS (apple's newer security frameworks, which generally require whitelisting specific domains, https mandated, etc)
