I just wanted some kind of simple block-level access to a hard drive or flash storage which I could tie into existing block memory support in byok. I am wondering if any body had any ideas on the simplest approach to this. E.g., should I try to focus on developing a AHCI driver, or an OHCI driver, or something else...? 18:01:39 pretty much open-minded, but aiming for the simplest approach 18:02:37 it doesn't need to be high-performance persistant storage, though I didn't really want to focus on something like PATA which is already obselete 18:03:33 (byok is for x86) 18:12:12 --- join: boru` joined #forth 18:12:15 --- quit: boru (Disconnected by services) 18:12:17 --- nick: boru` -> boru 18:28:56 --- quit: lonjil (Ping timeout: 246 seconds) 18:33:57 --- join: lonjil joined #forth 18:51:24 --- quit: _whitelogger (Remote host closed the connection) 18:54:22 --- join: _whitelogger joined #forth 19:41:07 --- join: jsoft joined #forth 19:52:54 --- join: hosewiejacke joined #forth 20:12:15 --- quit: Gromboli (Read error: Connection reset by peer) 20:42:24 --- quit: _whitelogger (Remote host closed the connection) 20:44:01 --- quit: sts-q (Ping timeout: 260 seconds) 20:45:23 --- join: _whitelogger joined #forth 20:54:59 --- join: sts-q joined #forth 20:56:48 --- quit: hosewiejacke (Ping timeout: 272 seconds) 21:00:20 --- join: dave0 joined #forth 21:20:32 --- join: gravicappa joined #forth 21:47:10 --- quit: jsoft (Ping timeout: 256 seconds) 22:15:29 --- join: hosewiejacke joined #forth 23:00:41 --- quit: dave0 (Quit: dave's not here) 23:59:59 --- log: ended forth/20.12.07
