I don't it's not monetised (just as well) 14:22:47 I only make them because as you say, there are hardly any modern Forth videos out there 14:23:04 Wait, so all those millionaire youtubers talk about... non-FORTH stuff? 14:24:32 Robert, in a entirely expected human behaviour, yes, the number of subscribers is inversely proportional to the useful content of the video 14:25:58 --- join: dddddd joined #forth 14:30:08 That sounds about right. 14:33:04 I had a friend once who was the state manager for Tektronix. He did his electronics apprenticeship at the South Australian "Weapons Research Centre" and was very skilled. The stress level at Tektronix was so high he eventually quit his job and started a business making silver and gold jewellery in a washing machine sized "RF metal rotary casting machine" 14:34:00 within a few years he had fitted a 4th floorsafe at home as the first three were packed with $100 bills 14:34:32 no warranty, and his customers insisted in paying in ca$h 14:34:56 no stress either 14:35:56 silver and gold jewellery made him a successful, popular and rich man ... 14:36:02 A nice lesson for our children, never try to do something useful because it doesn't pay. 14:37:08 it's incredibly sad to me that this is the case. I think the reason men havent been back to the moon is they can't remember how to get there 14:38:24 *some* men knew how to do it once, but they grew old and the knowledge was lost 14:40:33 but luckily we can still remember how to make jewellery so mankind is saved! 14:54:39 --- join: jsoft joined #forth 16:37:54 --- quit: ryke (Ping timeout: 265 seconds) 16:41:10 --- join: proteus-guy joined #forth 17:01:09 --- quit: proteus-guy (Ping timeout: 258 seconds) 17:51:37 --- join: ryke joined #forth 17:59:39 --- join: jedb__ joined #forth 18:02:01 --- quit: jedb_ (Ping timeout: 240 seconds) 18:59:05 --- join: jedb_ joined #forth 19:01:54 --- quit: jedb__ (Ping timeout: 258 seconds) 20:15:54 --- quit: dddddd (Remote host closed the connection) 20:56:56 --- join: gravicappa joined #forth 23:40:18 --- join: dddddd joined #forth 23:45:53 --- join: smokeink joined #forth 23:59:59 --- log: ended forth/19.12.25
