I wasn't aware of field day, but today is the 'All that wine and jazz'
concert near the University of Charleston, WV campus. Watched Maynard
Ferguson's babd play there a few years back. Anyway, I do have a Kenwood
R-1000 shortwave radio that was very costly when I got it ($400). Also have a
T-style att wire hooked up several hundred feet on tall tree branches. On a
good day i can pick-up SW from around the world.
