Subj : Hardened Crypto Systems Against Quantum To : All From : warmfuzzy Date : Sat Dec 27 2025 20:21:29 Hi everyone, Just got thinking along the lines of what types of crypto will be resistant against quantum-computation based cryptography. Are there some algorithms that would be more secure than others? Specifically I'm curious about what crypto I should start relying on and which crypto I should dump in the garbage bin. Will it be the same kind of problem with both public key and private key crypto systems? Which crypto should I migrate towards? It seems as the years progress the number of Q-bits (or Quantum Bits) available for manipulation keeps increasing to the point where it would be practical to crack just about every crypto-system out there. What should I do? Thanks! -warmfuzzy --- Mystic BBS v1.12 A49 2023/04/30 (Linux/64) * Origin: thE qUAntUm wOrmhOlE, rAmsgAtE, uK. bbs.erb.pw (700:100/37) .
