I really enjoyed *most* of season 2 with the possible exception of the penultimate episode, It just missed the mark with me and I'm not sure why.

I like the callbacks to earlier Trek, the Punk on the bus playing his music was the same actor that appeared in The Voyage Home and Rios paraphrasing Kirk's line "I'm from Chile, I  just work in outer space" made me smile!

There have been two hugs in TV shows that have got me a little emotional recently, one being Roy Kent hugging Jamie Tartt in season 2 of Ted Lasso
(watch it if you haven't seen it!) and the other being Picard and Q !
