How many of you have been enjoying Season 2 of Star Trek: Picard? I must admit, that coming off of Season 1, I was really interested in where they would take the series.

** SPOILERS **

I loved the Confederation of Earth's emergence in Q's Alternate Reality on S02E02, but the shift of the entire season to ~2024 felt really jarring in comparison, and while I understand that the purpose of Picard is to push an alternative way of exploring aging and end-of-life coming-to-terms with trauma, I felt that they could have explored the entire Picard Childhood through the future, not our present.

That said, I think Jeri Ryan is phenomenal this season. Really hope she sticks around for the TNG reunion that is evidently Season 3!
