For those of you who like old sci fi from the early days of television,
many of the episodes of the c1952 TV show Tales of Tomorrow are on youtube.
 Last night I watched one called "What You Need."  It is about a gentleman
who owns a curio shop that claims to "have what you need."  A young and
hungry journalist starts hounding him to give him what he needs.

Without giving the rest away it is a pretty good episode.

For fans of the Twilight Zone, the name of the episode may sound vaguely
familiar.  The TZ aired an episode by that name, and with a similar
premise, a few years later.  In that episode, the gentleman who has what
people need carries his "shop" around in a suitcase.  The TZ story took a
somewhat different approach when it came to the character who wants what he
needs, but the end is similar.

The actor who played the curio shop owner in the ToT episode is Edgar
Stehli.  TZ fans may recognize him as the actor who played the father in
the episode Long Live Walter Jameson.
