Good morning,
Lately I have been watch some of the old classic sci-fi TV anthologies.  ME TV
has been showing some of my favorite episodes from the original Twilight Zone
series.  Recently, I have had the pleasure to watch...

The Night of the Meek -- Art Carney plays a department store Santa (and
boozehound).  After losing his job, he finds that he has the ability to grant
Christmas wishes.  This is one of the rare "feel good comedy" episodes of the
show.  One of my all-time favorite Christmas episodes of any show.  This one
was also one of the few that was re-made for the 1980's reboot series.

The Invaders -- An old woman, played by Agnes Moorehead, living alone in the
country, finds her world turned upside down when a small UFO lands on her
roof.  This one is well known for the near total lack of dialog... Moorehead's
is the only character in the episode.

A Penny For Your Thoughts -- Dick York plays a bank employee who finds himself
suddenly able to hear the thoughts of others.  He learns that this talent is
not all that it is cracked up to be.  As is often the case with episodes of
like shows that star York, this one has some comedy intertwined into the
story.

Twenty Two -- One of the more well-known episodes.  A professional dancer
finds herself in the hospital "as a result of overwork and nervous fatigue."
There she starts having nightmares about being lead to the morgue, worsening
her condition.  She is eventually released only to realize that she might have
ESP.  "Room for one more, honey."

Static -- An older gentleman, living at a boarding house, finds himself
wishing for his old radio and the more simple times it reminds him of.  As a
young kid I used to enjoy playing with a radio, trying to tune in some channel
or program I'd never heard before.  I think that is why I enjoy this one so
much.

I seem to have a strong liking for Season 2, as that is the season that all of
these episodes aired during.  

I have also recently started watching the original "One Step Beyond" series.
So far I have made it through the first five episodes of Season 1.  I also
enjoy this series and, unlike the Twilight Zone, I have only seen a few of the
episodes before.  My favorite one is still a thriller called "The Dark Room"
that stars a young Cloris Leachman (which may be why I like it so much) who
plays an American photographer on assignment in Paris.  She finds the
assignment, to photograph the "Faces of Paris" to be more of a challenge than
she would have expected.

Are there any other Twilight Zone or One Step Beyond fans out there?
