Yes, War of the Worlds was in there.  I finished it a week or two ago.
Wow that was a good story, although I am not sure I should have been
reading it when I was.  I started it beforehand, but finished it up just as
the coronavirus really set up in my area.  :)

At least if the martians pick now to invade, it won't be such a good time
for them.  :)

There have been two recent TV adaptations, too.  The BBC did one, which I
think is supposed to be close to the story, while EPIX is doing one that
maybe is supposed to be like a sequel to the story had it not ended quite
the way that it did.
