Well I finished the Invisble Man a week or two ago.  It was just as enjoyable
as its predecessors.  Started, and finished, War of the Worlds.  I may not have
picked the best time to be reading that one, what with all that is going on in
the World right now.  :O  Seems like the more of a stronghold the Martians got,
the more our own news seemed to become more and more serious.

I did enjoy it.  It is probably my favorite of the four so far.  It now makes
me interested in seeing the recent BBC mini-series adaptation.  I have not seen
the movies, either.  FYI, from what little I have seen of the EPIX adaptation,
it is a departure from the original story, more loosely based, including some
more-mobile threats.

I would greatly recommend both The Invisible Man and War of the Worlds.
 
Now on to The First Men in the Moon.  :)
