Wildcat! 10.0 Build 500.2 - Official Release Available

Wildcat! 10.0 Build 500.2 is now available on the production AutoUpdate
server.  This release has been running on the Alpha AUP server through
several pre-release builds (pr1 - PR4.0) and is now promoted to general
availability.  This update includes wcServer, wcBASIC, and PX/WIN
components.

No configuration changes are required.

wcServer

NEW: wcserver now supports loading multiple *.wcl libraries.

  The default wildcat.wcl is always loaded first, followed by any
  additional *.wcl libraries found in your \wcat\ folder.  For PX/WIN
  customers, fidonet.wcl is the first package to use this new
  capability (see PX/WIN section below).

  The new logic also supports wildcat.wcl entry overrides from any
  loaded *.wcl library, in the same manner that a standalone *.wcx
  disk file overrides a stock wildcat.wcl entry.

NEW: wcllib /delete option.

  Useful to remove standalone *.wcx disk files that duplicate entries
  already inside wildcat.wcl:

    wcllib /delete /wcl wildcat.wcl

  It will interactively prompt Y/N for each override it finds.

ENH: wcWEB Fidonet netmail compose form (html-new message.wcc) now
shows a FidoFrom AKA dropdown and live nodelist autosuggest for the
To: name and FTN address fields.  Selecting a destination automatically
switches the From AKA to match the destination's zone, and fills in
the AreaFix/FileFix password from the Node Book Manager when applicable.

New:     wcBASIC-Custom-WCL.txt

  Developer guide covering how to create and distribute custom .wcl
  packages, bare vs namespaced lib declarations, when a wildcat.wcl
  stub is required, and disk override paths.

NEW: fidonet.wcl

  A new custom .wcl library for PX/WIN, consolidating fidomsg.wcx,
  pxsrvlib.wcx, html-get-fixpwd.wcx, and html-suggest-nodes.wcx into a
  single package.  pxwin-setup installs this automatically in place of
  the individual *.wcx files.  To see its contents:

    wcllib /list /wcl fidonet.wcl

FIX: Outbound bundle Kill/Truncate node setting could be saved with
neither option set (Node Manager Global Change), causing a sent bundle
to never be removed from the outbound queue and be resent every
session.  Node Manager (both single-node and Global Change) now always
defaults to a valid Kill/Truncate setting, and PXECHO/PXONLINE warn the
sysop if an existing node record is found in the old invalid state.

FIX: AKA selection now correctly treats all FidoNet zones (1-6) as one
family when choosing a local alias for an outbound call or netmail
origin, and the PKT header origin address now matches the AKA used to
compose the message.

FIX: BinkP session shutdown (Stop button or Windows shutdown) now
closes active TCP sessions immediately instead of waiting on a 30-
second forced thread kill.

FIX: Nodelist entries with trailing whitespace in the flags field no
longer block BinkP polls; PXNLIST trims Options before compiling.  The
nodelist ISAM is now protected against concurrent search corruption
from simultaneous wcWEB autosuggest requests.

FIX: Event scheduler no longer fires two events sharing the same
trigger cycle (e.g. an hourly scan colliding with the Zone Mail Hour
window); the more specific/windowed event now takes priority.

ENH: VIEWPOLL /ADD now accepts /FORCE to send Hold-status mail
immediately during an outbound poll, overriding normal FTN Hold
convention.  A new event flag, Do Not Send NetMail, suppresses
outbound netmail PKT delivery for echo-only or file-distribution
events.  PXCONFIG Node Manager now has a nodelist browse button to
fill the FTN Address and Sysop Name fields directly from the compiled
nodelist.
