When I got my first DOS compatible 8088-XT machine, PC-FILE was one of three programs that came on diskettes with the machine.  One of the others was PC-WRITE.  I never could really figure out what I might use PC-FILE for or how to use it, but it is still neat to hear that someone is reviving something from when I first got into PCs.

P.S.  I am drawing a blank on what the third program was!
