The Story...
        A day to consider the cost of political corruption.  Today is the
        birthday of William Tweed, a New York City Political leader, whose
        ring of followers is said to have stolen $30 to $200 million from
        the city.  Tweed was born at New York City, April 3rd, 1823 and died
        in jail on April 12th, 1878.
