I don't know if you saw the old episodes more recently than I did
or if you just remember them better since I didn't 'place' those
things till you mentioned them. Of course a lot of what's happening
now would be from very early in the old series since it's mostly
introductory situations, him in a new place finding his way, and
the old series started way back in 2004..

Let's blame it on that rather than my poor memory..  B)

Also that may be partly because I am more or less just watching
the show thinking of it new rather that looking for similarities
to the old series unless it's something big and obvious.

As expected though, he blew it with Louisa.. he finally got that
first kiss but then, rather than ask her if she felt it didn't
mean anything, he just blurted that out and walked away..
