It felt like you were filling out forms and then transposing to the computer. I'm guessing it had to do with it being a legacy card punch type language. I remember when I was learning RPG II, RPG III was just coming out and it was going to be more freeform. COBOL was an interesting language to learn. I should have focused more on it and gotten a coding job instead of security.
