I'd have to say this is normal.  SlyEdit currently doesn't handle color codes,
and it will strip color codes from quoted messages, etc.

Maybe the way around that would be to remove your non-color signature and
re-add it.  Sorry for the inconvenience. :(

Support for color codes is something I'd like to add to SlyEdit at some point
in the future.
