I've found that there's a certain logic behind the syntax of the languages, and
if you understand that logic, you can sort of figure out the syntax for many
things without having to memorize it all.  It's sort of like knowing the
grammar rules for a spoken/written language - If you know the grammar rules,
you can figure out what a word/sentence should look like.

Nice :)  I've been a Star Trek fan since I was a kid.  I watched some of the
Original Series episodes, and then started watching The Next Generation when it
came out and went from there (and I also saw many of the movies in the
theater).
