This reply is a bit late but I've just connected to DEVNET (same host as
starnet) and I had a little poke around in the QWK mail message pointers from
the QWK menu  on digdist.synchro.net and all bar one of the pointers were
pointing back to 1967

I don't know where the starnet main QWK hub is so it is possible that digdist
unsubscribed from the network immediately for all I know. 

Where did you find the INFOPAK for starnet?
