That's interesting.. I figured MonoDevelop would have had a lighter footprint. I haven't used it much though. I think it's interesting that a 3rd party has developed tools for developing .NET on other platforms. A while ago, I heard that Microsoft may end up copyrighting parts of .NET, which could prevent 3rd-party developers from developing .NET tools in the future.
