Closing: everything described above is on master.

- 043587351c (bent-8-contract, 2026-09-20): the store, shared reader library, three-tier read path, both consumers
- 8754b91000 (beats-4-full, 2026-09-20): `inventory_archives.js` rewritten as the populator; the `readd_always` import-date bug is gone with it
- 3a687044d3 (item-11-focal, 2026-09-21): `smb_updatefile()` updates a record's stored text in place
- 58cefb15dd (fact-6-bankruptcy, 2026-09-21): `FileBase.update()` accepts an auxdata-only object and no longer drops fields it was not given
- d966961252 (temp-13-skill, 2026-09-21): the listing moved into the file record's auxdata

The v3.22 release notes cover it under Stock Modules.
