The QWK menu's command keys and words are now translatable, which replaces the earlier work-around:

- The QWK menu is now a loadable JavaScript module, `exec/qwk_sec.js` (47daa03e11 (voice-3-plus, 2026-09-28), with e4dd926ae9 (wine-3-flyer, 2026-09-28)).
- New translatable text strings `Upload`, `Download`, `Configure`, `Select`, and `Pointers`; each command key is the first letter of its string, like the existing Yes/No/Quit keys (567a47e48f (grows-3-cove, 2026-09-28)).
- The QWK menu takes its keys from those strings, and logs an error for the sysop when two of them collide (e.g. a translated Quit starting with the same letter as Download); Quit then uses Q (598853a176 (asylum-22-heat, 2026-09-28)).
- The QWK menu files show the translated keys and words via new @-codes (@DOWNLOADCHAR@ etc. and @Download@ etc.), with fixed widths so the menu borders don't move (ee7bcbd0c7 (bookstore-22-detected, 2026-09-28), 89d68c5a4b (demo-3-arch, 2026-09-28)).
- The stock Spanish and French Quit translations no longer collide with Download: "Terminar" and "Quitter" (76c8b191b7 (sheets-11-pain, 2026-09-28)).

For your "Salir": in the QWK menu it would collide with Select ('S') unless Select is also translated to a word starting with another letter, e.g. in your ctrl/text.es.ini:

    Quit: Salir
    Select: Elegir
