Subj : exec/load/shell_lib.js To : Git commit to main/sbbs/master From : Rob Swindell (on Debian Linux) Date : Thu Sep 24 2026 21:22:49 https://gitlab.synchro.net/main/sbbs/-/commit/e98c91fe06caa48d18f7200e Modified Files: exec/load/shell_lib.js Log Message: shell_lib: offer each group's and library's current area, not a stale copy shell_lib.js copied every group's current sub-board and every library's current directory into arrays when it loaded, and area selection never updated them. After changing sub-boards or directories in one group or library and moving to another, picking the first again offered (and on Enter selected) the area that was current when the shell started. The "*" marking the current area in the sub-board and directory lists was stale the same way. dir_up() and dir_down() also stored into the entry for the new directory number rather than the current library, overwriting another library's saved directory. The core already keeps the current sub-board per group and directory per library, so read it when needed: cursub(grp) and curdir(lib) select that group or library briefly and read bbs.cursub or bbs.curdir.
