I really dont get it. I've seen him in SG1, Atlantis, BSG and FF NG's. I've NEVER seen anything to be even slightly bothered by. All I ever see him post is a FF FAQ every so often and replies to various threads. And, he engages in threads started specifically to , er, engage him. There seems to be some implied evil with crossosting, but usenet allows for that, and thats fine. Even if its not, I cant see for the life of me whats wrong with that. Surely one can ignore his clear and obvious posts, no? I dont use them, (cos they seem like a childs fingers in the ears type method of not hearing what one doesnt like,) but can people use the killfile thingy? Then I see (cross posted) posts complaining of his views on other NG. But this cross posting seem to be ok. And wh would any one on a SG1 NG want to know about politics? At least FF and SG are the same genre. I dont get it. I really dont. I dont know who this guys is, and dont give a toss about him personally any more than I care about anyone else. But why does this guy get such a slagging? Every complaint I have ever seen, I have the same reaction to: 'So?' Dont like cross posting? So? Dont like his FAQ? So? Dont like his opinions? So? It all just looks like weak reasons to bait the guy. And most of the people who do seem to be engaged in baitig him seem pretty nasty themselves. A lot of the time they make little sense, refuse to see other POV's, and quickly resort to abuse. So who one earth do they think they are? And what am I supposed to be ignoring? His FF FAQ? His reasonable replies to SG related threads? His own defence against those who seem hell bend of having a go at him? Please explain ? Im NOT looking fo a fight. Im confused ..... help........ :) AC
