And this is not a good thing if we want to preserve ASCII >>> classics for the future generations... >> >> Thats terrible ! >> We need to dig up the Red Baron comic and preserve it for future generations. >> I once had them all all stored on my harddrive , but no longer. >> >> I'm going to scour the usenet for the original postings .. how many were there ? > >I had already begun archiving the episodes of Red Baron when Ulrich >Schreglmann replied to a mail I sent him. > >Turns out .. they are still online - They just moved to : >http://www.ulrichschreglmann.homepage.t-online.de/redbaron/ > >ENJOY! > >( I'm going to mirror them all the same ) Great! This problem came to my attention because of the impending deletion of "ASCII comic" article on Wikipedia and desperate searching for sources which mention various ASCII comics. I found one article in Polish magazine, written by bug and that's all. Basically, if someone knows some source (printed or web-based, no Usenet allowed) which mentions various ASCII comics and how great they are, you can participiate in this discussion: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/ASCII_comic Long-standing Wikipedia account is highly desirable for your vote to be counted. -- |Don't believe this - you're not worthless ,gr---------.ru |It's us against millions and we can't take them all... | ue il | |But we can take them on! | @ma | | (A Wilhelm Scream - The Rip) |______________|
