[...] True. And I don't think that "combining" does much good to the quality of the text. The documents we are talking about have different qualities and usually a different purpose then Matthews FAQ. > I feel that it is easier for all concerned to just have one copy of the main > FAQ in plain text format... if we have an HTML version and a Text version > hanging around things will be harder to keep under control and keep people > updated. I agree. Better only have a text version. If I have to use a HTML version on my site then I would (again) change it to match my colours with the result of creating a "changed" copy. To list those locations in the document itself is a bit pointless at first glance but some people might just bookmark it at first for later reading and as I said before I would skip the "reading" bit if the only link is slow, launches popups etc etc. :) Andreas .---...__ .. ____ '| ASCII `:;=-. http://www.stud.uni-hannover.de/~freise ___ || ART )| [) __________ `==-...___''.-.| ______________________________________________ ((o)(o)'`-(o)'__________ """"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""a:f
