Why, I do believe it is the Northrop XP-58 "Black Bullet."  One of a trio
of losers in a WW2 fighter competition along with Curtiss's XP-55
"Ascender" and McDonnell's XP-57 "Swoose."  Interestingly, all three were
pusher-prop types.
