I did.. A very old post with the same snake being squashed just in
case someone wants to see:

The two big problems are the eyes and the chest.  The eyes can't
really be made any shorter without changing the look, which means the
head can't be any shorter either.  The only way you'll lose 7 lines is
by squashing the body, and that loses the outthrust of the chest and
makes the head look a little too big.

This is what I managed to do in 10 lines.  I'm not too happy with it.
It's like a bad forgery; it doesn't quite capture the feel of the
original.  Maybe this looks okay on its own terms, but I can't tell;
I've spent too long looking at the original.
